How the work is done.

High Desert Environmental Services is a full-service environmental consulting firm serving developers, municipalities, engineers, architects, contractors, and property owners across the Alabama Gulf Coast. The work spans the full project lifecycle — from preliminary Phase I and Phase II site assessments through long-term compliance monitoring — and it moves in one direction.

Assessment, then data, then recommendation — in that order, every time.

We begin with a scoped assessment of what the project and the regulation actually require. Credentialed field staff collect the data on site — samples, measurements, observations — and log it to a standard that holds up under review. Only then do we issue practical recommendations and the dependable project support that keeps a schedule intact. The client is never handed a guess; they are handed a finding.

Safety is procedure, not posture.

Our field teams train continuously and operate under strict health-and-safety procedures. Staff hold OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification for work on and around contaminated sites, and safety is enforced as a documented procedure on every job — not an afterthought. A firm you hire to reduce risk should not introduce any of its own.

Rooted in the community we survey.

The Gulf Coast is where we work and where we live. High Desert Environmental Services supports local conservation organizations, takes part in community clean-ups, and partners with environmental-education programs. The same coastal-plain wetlands and pine flatwoods we assess for our clients are the ones we help look after.
